Prior to the formation of Hume Partners in 2015, Ross was the CEO of the Peter Scanlon Family Office for five years and was responsible for a diverse range of investments including private equity, listed securities, credit and property.
Ross has represented the Scanlon family interests on the boards of public companies such as Qube Holdings Limited, Ruralco Holdings Limited and Oncard International Limited and private vehicles such as Bennelong Real Estate, Taverners Group and Kaplan Equity Limited and has served as a trustee of the Scanlon Foundation.
Prior to this Ross worked variously for Guinness Peat Group, Brierley Investments and BDO Chartered Accountants, in Sydney and London. He has over 25 years’ experience as a CEO, investment manager and accountant.

Kate has over 20 years’ experience providing a full range of accounting, audit, advisory and corporate finance services to both large private businesses and public companies in the funds management, transport and retail industries.
Kate has worked with many listed and unlisted boards to enhance corporate governance practices and implement rigorous reporting and internal control frameworks. She has been a non-executive director of National Patient Transport. Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer of Hume Partners, Kate was the Financial Controller of the Taverners Group and is currently a non-executive director of Albert Park Driving Range and a Company Secretary (former treasurer) of the Not-For-Profit organisation, Community Hubs.
Kate is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and holds a degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Andrew’s career has focused on high conviction investing across both credit and equity markets for over 25 years. He has a core philosophy of providing superior and consistent risk adjusted returns through a long-term private investor mindset.
As an Investment Director at Hume, Andrew is continually trying to find capital solutions for companies, across both private and public capital markets. Andrew’s role involves investment idea generation, due diligence, deal structuring and ongoing management of investment portfolios.
Prior to joining Hume in 2016, Andrew worked in a wide range of leadership, portfolio management, and investment analyst roles across the funds management industry, including at River Capital, AMP Capital, and Standard & Poor’s.

General Manager, Aware Water
Robertson is an experienced water and real assets investment professional managing assets for close to a decade within one of the world’s most advanced water investment and trading markets, Australia’s Murray Darling Basin.
He is currently General Manager of the Aware Water Group responsible for strategy and growth of the company’s activities within the Australian water sector across urban and rural water infrastructure, water dependent assets or operations, water risk strategies and water entitlement and water allocation investment.
Prior to this role, Robertson was Regional Director for Australia for a specialist water investment firm, Summit Global Management LLC, where he was responsible for all investment and management activities including the acquisition and development of one of the largest privately held water entitlement portfolios in Australia. He continues to be an adviser to Summit Global Management LLC on the Australian water market, the commercial and regulatory environment and the potential investment opportunities for the rural and urban water sector.
His prior roles include Investment Director at Blue Sky Water Partners, Portfolio Manager at Rural Bank, Senior Financial Analyst at the International division of Telstra Corporation and Strategy Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers / IBM Consulting.

Currently a consultant with Hume Partners, Joe has extensive experience managing and operating multinational businesses in the technology sector.
Prior to Hume Partners Joe was the Chief Executive Officer of publicly listed, global sports technology leader – Catapult Sports for 2.5 years. Prior to Catapult Joe spent 10 years with SEEK Ltd. In that time, he was Managing Director of SEEK Education where he oversaw various education businesses in Australia and internationally. Joe also spent six years as Managing Director of SEEK Employment, responsible for the day-to-day management of SEEK’s core Online Employment business in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to SEEK, Joe spent 11 years at Optus in various management roles, after starting his career as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Joe also has significant board experience with Online Education Services and IDP Education and is a current director of the Richmond Football Club and the Migration Council Australia.

Cameron is CEO and Managing Director of Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks. Authorised Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Holden, Toyota, Isuzu Ute and Truck / Prime mover MAN, Western Star & IVECO dealerships that employ over 800 staff.
A Bachelor of Business, and a Master of Arts, Cameron worked in food manufacturing and agriculture, prior to Patterson Cheney.
Cameron has been involved in the family’s motor vehicle business for the last 18 years, working in all areas of the operation and management.
