Hume Partners Property
Hume Partners Property was borne in January 2015 out of two long standing property relationships within Taverners Group – Bennelong Property Funds Management (BPFM) and Brencorp Properties.
Since 2001, BPFM, led by Scott Davies, has been acquiring and managing a portfolio of commercial investment and development properties along Australia’s eastern seaboard. These properties are now 100% owned by Taverners Group and BPFM is owned by Hume Partners. Recently these activities have broadened to include a portfolio of health, aged care, tourism and childcare assets.
For over 30 years, Brencorp Properties, led by John Crosby, has been acquiring and managing a range of broad-acre residential sub-division development projects for Taverners Group. During this time, projects with an end value of over $1.0bn and comprising more than 3,000 housing lots have been developed and successfully sold. Current projects in Keysborough, Torquay and Lilydale involve over 5,000 housing blocks.
Both of these entities now come under the Hume Partners Property umbrella enabling Hume Partners to source investments across most property sectors.
Managing Director, Hume Property
Scott joined Bennelong Group in 2008, responsible for Executing BPFM strategy, Fund Management, and leading asset repositioning, leasing and sales transactions and property development. Scott has 39 years’ experience in the property industry spanning funds management, property development, marketing & sales, leasing, asset management, valuations consultancy and project financing.
Scott was previously Victorian State Manager for ASX listed Valad Property Group, and prior to that he was National Head of Coles Myer Limited’s Property Group. From 1999 to 2002 Scott was a Director of Multiplex Development, following a long and successful career in commercial real estate.
Commercial Manager – Property
Jacqui has over 13 years of accounting and property investment experience focused on the residential land subdivision space. Jacqui actively works with joint venture partners, construction groups, consultants and marketing teams, bringing a strong understanding of the projects to help forecast whole of life cashflows and project profits.
Jacqui is a director of Brencorp Properties and its subsidiary companies. She is dedicated to achieving the best results for current projects as well as looking for new opportunities.
Jacqui is a member of CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Monash University.
Tim has over 40 years’ experience in the commercial building industry. This experience spans Residential apartments, Aged and Child Care, Hotel, Retail, Commercial Office and Social infrastructure projects. He has also project managed major scale refurbishments and fit out contracts in some of Australia’s largest commercial office towers.
Tim manages the capex spend across the property portfolio, ensuring that the most innovative and cost effective solutions are delivered. He also manages property services consultants, contractors, surveyors and maintenance specialists.
Tim is a commercial unlimited licensed builder (CB-U 3215)with the Victorian Building Authority.
